Lavender Cottage
Managed by Classic Cottages
Perfect for families, walkers, nature lovers and adult groups (plus your four-legged friends) the semi-detached cottage is also within easy reach of Christchurch, the New Forest and Bournemouth.
Entering the cottage from the quiet cul de sac you will find a lovely blend of original features as well as well proportioned living spaces and bedrooms.
The open plan living areas feature a large dining space, perfect for some social feasting, before leading you into the lovely spacious sitting-area and finally into the striking snug/sun-room which looks out over the garden. It all has a wonderfully cosy feel, and you will feel very at home here.
Off the hallway you have the well-equipped galley kitchen, perfect for cooking up a storm, as well as a handy utility-room and WC.
As you head up the lovely, restored staircase you will find the first floor to be bright and spacious with two large bedrooms, one featuring a super-king bed and the other a king (both can be split into singles on request). The rear bedroom has a lovely aspect over the garden, and the front has some striking views over towards Christchurch and the Nature Reserve. The cottage is very quiet, and the bedrooms have a very peaceful feel.
Completing the first floor is a large family bathroom and separate WC.
The outside space is peaceful and enclosed, with a lawn and patio area, perfect for some al fresco dining and enjoying those long summer evenings.

Mrs Dixon
From the warm and welcoming personal message gift and flowers from Nicole and Martin on arrival, our week’s stay at Lavender Cottage was just perfect. The cottage was spotless, very well equipped, beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable. Everything we needed, and much more besides had been so thoughtfully catered for. The location in Wick is lovely, very quiet and close to the ferry across to Christchurch. We were able to walk on beautiful Hengistbury head from the front door and also access the whole amazing coast path from Sandbanks to Beaulieu mainly using local transport. We loved staying in Lavender cottage - it was wonderful, thank you Jan and Rob
