Just a hop, skip and a jump from the River Tavy, this cosy semi-detached cottage makes a wonderful base for slowing down, exploring and enjoying the great outdoors.

Step inside you holiday abode and you'll find a light and airy open plan living space, thoughtfully arranged with a comfortable sitting-area, dining space and well-equipped kitchen - perfect for rustling up a delicious brunch before heading out for the day's adventures. Upstairs, the inviting bedroom is home to a king-size bed with a picture window out across the village, while the en suite shower-room adds a touch of convenience. Hawcombe Cottage is an ideal choice for a couple or solo traveller as well as a small four-legged friend.

The River Tavy is quite literally on your doorstep and is a haven for wildlife and water sports. When the tide is in, it's a wonderful spot for kayaking and paddleboarding, while at low tide the exposed mudflats attract an abundance of birdlife, particularly during the spring and autumn migrations. For walkers, a network of footpaths wind through the surrounding countryside, following the river and passing remnants of the area's fascinating silver mining heritage.

The friendly, discreet owners live next door. They are always respectful of your privacy whilst remaining close by should you need any local recommendations or assistance during your stay.
