The flexible bedroom features a super-king bed that can also be arranged as a twin, while a separate modern shower room completes the accommodation.
Just a mile and a half from Laxey village - with its beach, friendly cafés, historic electric railway, and the iconic Laxey Wheel - Cherry Cottage offers rural tranquillity and a short drive to local attractions. With comfort, character, and picturesque surroundings, it offers a superb base for a peaceful and memorable island getaway.

Bedroom 1: Super-king zip and link bed which can be configured as double or twin, bedside tables, wardrobe.
Bedroom 2: Standard double, bedside tables, wardrobe.
Shower room: Shower room, WC and wash hand basin.

Changeover Day: Flexible. Arrival: 4:00pm, departure: 10:00am.

Accessibility: There is ample parking outside and the cottage is located all one level making it suitable for those less mobile. Access from public transport is via an 8% gradient.
Shop: 1.5 mile Pub: 1.5 mile Bus stop: 0.7 mile
Damage: Important! We are committed to protecting our properties which is why we take a £35 fee from each booking as a damage waiver. This is included in the price you pay and covers you for up to £500 worth of accidental damages to the property that could occur whilst you are staying.

This is an amazing cottage with fantastic views of the sea from the living room and one of the bedrooms. There are French doors leading out to a shared lawn area. This is a quiet location to rest and relax. HOWEVER.....this cottage is NOT suitable for those coming without a car. We didn't have a car as we used Go Explore cards. There is a steep 1 mile walk all uphill, which is not possible for people with health or mobility problems. We did 2,500 steps just to get to the bus stop every day. We used a taxi on 2 of the evenings but had to go out of Laxey to get a taxi as there is NO taxi service in Laxey and the Douglas cabs would not come out to Laxey. So, amazing cottage but you need a car. This needs to be clearly stated in your description of the cottage.

Ideal place to relax. Close to Laxey for shop,restaurants and beach. Felt remote at first with stunning view but with short drive to everywhere on island

Lovely bright cottage in a great location for hikes towards Snaefell and walks down to Laxey. A couple of good sized sofa's to relax on in the evenings after a long walk.
