While the owners live next door, guest privacy is paramount, allowing you to enjoy your stay with complete comfort and independence. Step outside with your morning coffee, sink into the outdoor hot tub after a day of exploring, or slide open the canopy to blur the lines between indoors and out - creating a seamless open-air living space or a shaded sun trap on warmer days.
Inside, this thoughtfully styled studio has everything needed for a cosy self-catering stay. The open-plan layout is bright and welcoming, with a plush king-size bed positioned to make the most of the peaceful setting, a fully equipped kitchen for relaxed evenings in, and a dining table for two perfect for slow breakfasts or sunset suppers. A large Smart TV and calming interiors complete the space, while the modern en-suite features a walk-in shower - ideal for unwinding after coastal adventures.
Just moments away, the village of Laxey offers a charming mix of heritage, scenery, and excellent places to eat. Spend your days discovering the island's coastal footpaths, taking in dramatic sea views and nearby beauty spots, before settling in for dinner at The Shore Hotel for waterside dining and local seafood, or enjoying the laid-back atmosphere and flavourful small plates at The Shed.

Accessibility: The Hideaway is a single-level studio with access from a driveway on an incline. There are steps up onto the decking area from the driveaway and into the property.
Damage waiver: We are committed to protecting our properties, which is why we take a £35 fee from each booking as a damage waiver. This is included in the price you pay and covers you for up to £500 worth of accidental damage to the property that could occur whilst you are staying.

Fantastic little spot and the name is exactly what it says on the tin, perfect Hideaway. Up away on the cliff side, stunning views and the peace and quite is perfect for that little staycation to get away for the every day hustle and bustle.

Fantastic little hidden gem - when there is good weather its a phenomenal place to stay. The studio, while compact, is very well done out with all of the facilities you need. Bed was very comfortable and we slept well both nights. The welcome pack was a pleasant addition as well. The main selling point of course is the large outside decked area with hot tub which was amazing. Only small negative - the flooring inside the studio becomes very slippery when wet - you need to take great care or put towels down to avoid falling.

The accommodation was very comfortable and had everything you need for your stay. Very clean and new in a lovely location. Laxey is a lovely place to visit.

This was a great place to stay. Laxley is one of the main towns on the Island and this was very secluded and quiet. The room is a little small but we only used it for sleeping really, because there was so much to see on the island. And the hot tub makes up for the size of room 10 times over.

Absolutely breathtaking, perfect location for a romantic break, every detail has been thought out meticulously by the owner Mike. The finish and spec is top drawer, obviously the view alone is spectacular, but to then have the opportunity to view it from a fantastic hot tub makes it all the more special. We Haven't had a holiday location like this ever and we will DEFINITELY be returning.

The hideaway is absolutely stunning. Stayed here for my wedding anniversary. Waking up to the sound of the sea & stunning views was amazing. Had everything you need for such a small place. Having the hot tub was fab! Great weekend spent there. Perfect place for a relaxing and peaceful stay.
