Mrs Berryman
Nice property in such a pretty location and very handy for dog owners in respect of a great well manicured garden lawn that stretches an amazing distance. Two very happy pooches being able to run freely especially after breakfast time. Visiting Buzzards and heron spotted regularly while we were staying. The mill was very comfortable and the bed was comfy with nice pillows. Open plan living area was also very comfortable. We were lucky with weather and found although there were some heavy rain showers it didn’t last for long and we had a reasonable amount of sunshine during our stay. Most st Austell pubs are in lovely locations and are dog friendly to name a few that are worth visiting with amazing sea views are the old success inn Sennen cove while there the roundhouse gallery is worth visiting some lovely pieces of artworks and other locally made crafts to be found. The Pednolva in St Ives which has amazing sea and beach views. The Godolphin at marazion has stunning views over st Michael’s mount. Another pub worth visiting is the Gurnards head near Zennor, amazing olives to buy at the bar and snack on. and if you have time you need to go to Zennor and visit the church like we have many times while our children were little. Once inside you need to search for the very ancient Pew with the carving of the mermaid of Zennor good fun for kids to find as long as they are not to boisterous inside.(hope it’s still there.) We only had a 5 day break but nice that you can do the shorter breaks. Probably could have seen a lot more if we had stayed longer but hopefully we will be able to visit again. Thanks to our host for the lovely stay.
