This magical abode is simply perfect for an Island escape. Watch the sunset from the fabulous deck, bubble away in the privacy of your secluded hot tub or take an early morning dip in the swimming pool and use the steam room, which can be booked out for private use during your stay (at no extra cost!). The perfect antidote to everyday life and ideal for a romantic getaway or solo retreat.

From the moment you arrive at Sunrise and Stars, you will be captivated. Inside, the shepherd's hut has been cleverly designed to create a cosy ambience, including a double wall folding bed, ideal for allowing more living space during the day. The comfy sofa is positioned overlooking the gardens and rolling countryside, perfect for a quiet read in front of the wood-burner or for just simply taking in the views. The kitchen area has all you will need, including a fridge with an icebox to keep your summer drinks cool! The luxurious shower-room sits behind the living area with a fabulous, spacious walk-in shower to wash salty toes after a day exploring the local beaches.

The jewel in the crown here has to be the outside space. A covered deck area is home to a hot tub, al fresco dining area and sun loungers where you can relax in the Island sunshine taking in the countryside views from dawn until dusk. Once evening falls, pretty festoon lights illuminate this most romantic of settings! The swimming pool can be booked out in hour time slots for private use throughout your stay, the ultimate holiday indulgence. Your four-legged friends are also welcome to join you on your getaway, and with a myriad of footpaths and beaches to discover, this Island retreat has all you need for a relaxing break.

Sunrise and Stars welcomes up to two dogs and dogs stay for free. Once you book, the owner will be in touch to discuss their generous 40% ferry discount with you.

We stayed for a week in Sunrise and Stars. The shepherd's hut is in a private location on the owners property. A cosy place to stay with lovely views and the added bonus of a pool (which can be booked) and a private hot tub. It was lovely to sit watching the birds and the odd rabbit and red squirrel. We didn't make any meals, but there was sufficient equipment to "rustle something up" had we of chosen to. The owners were great in communicating prior to our stay and were on hand if required during our stay, whilst respecting our privacy. We were fortunate to have good weather for the duration of our stay but can imagine it would be cosy even in the colder months with the log burner inside and the hot tub being covered. We found the accommodation to be in a good location to tour the whole of the island and wouldn't hesitate to return if we were to visit the Isle of Wight again in the future.

We (two adults and two dogs) spent four nights in the Shepherds Hut and had a great time! The host was lovely and communication was great. Towels, robes, blankets, teas, coffee, milk, toiletries all provided. Hot tub was on the small size and jets weren't very powerful but was lovely nonetheless. WiFi was quite poor when in the Shepherds hut and when we asked the host about this we were advised to open the windows to improve connection. We tried this but visiting in December/January where it is cold and rainy wasn't a long term solution. Perfect location with absolutely breathtaking views! We would definitely recommend others to come here, and are tempted to try out the other properties on site as well.
