Heron Cottage

From splashing in the indoor swimming pool, to games of table-tennis and outdoor adventures across 12 acres of pasture and woodland, Heron Cottage is designed for memorable family holidays. Located in the heart of north Devon, it offers a peaceful rural base just 12 minutes from the beach and within easy reach of a wide range of family-friendly days out.

On the ground floor, you'll find the living-room with open plan kitchen and the bunk bedroom. The living area is bright and welcoming with comfortable sofas, a television and plenty of natural light streaming in through the windows, creating a cosy yet airy atmosphere. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need, including an oven, hob, microwave, fridge (with small freezer compartment) and all the cookware and utensils for preparing anything from a quick breakfast to a family feast.

On the first floor you'll find a twin bedroom and king-size double bedroom. The double bedroom enjoys south-facing views over the cottage's enclosed garden and the surrounding fields, providing a peaceful spot to wake up to the sights and sounds of the countryside. The bedrooms share a well-appointed family bathroom, featuring a bath with fitted shower.

Heron Cottage is dog-friendly, allowing your four-legged friends to join in the fun. Dogs will love the enclosed four acre dog field at Robin Hill Farm, where they can safely run, play and explore to their hearts' content.

For larger gatherings, all six cottages at Robin Hill Farm, Wren Cottage (6038), Swallow Cottage (6039), Kingfisher Cottage (6040), Puffin Cottage (6042) and Gull Cottage (6043) be booked together, making it the perfect choice for extended families, friends or special celebrations. With a mix of double, twin and bunk bedrooms, private gardens and spacious living areas, each cottage provides both comfort and privacy while giving the whole group access to the farm's fantastic, shared facilities.

Outside of school holidays, guests can arrive/depart on any day. During the Christmas/New Year period, bookings are available for a minimum of 12 guests staying in a minimum of two cottages.
