Step through the wooden door of this smart white house and head for the airy open plan living area, decorated tastefully with coastal nods throughout. This expansive space is the perfect sociable base for a fun-filled holiday or time away with friends. The living area has a corner sofa, second sofa and armchair, all upholstered in calming slate and moody blue hues. It's the perfect place to cuddle up come evening time and relax with a film on the flatscreen TV with Freeview and SkyQ. If the nights are drawing in on your winter getaway, light a fire in the wood-burner and enjoy the crackle and ambiance while you sink even deeper into the sofas.
Opposite the sitting-area you'll find a dining-area, with French doors and garden views. The kitchen, situated behind the dining-area, is a practical, pleasant space with beige units and floors and seaside blue metro tiling on the walls. It's decked out with everything you need to self-cater successfully included a rangemaster with gas hob and electric oven, plus a microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and even a wine fridge. Coffee aficionados will love the Nespresso coffee machine, just remember to order some pods in your big shop. There's also a washing machine and tumble-drier in the cupboard in the hallway.
Sands End has four bedrooms, sleeping up to eight guests in total. The principal bedroom is located on the first floor and boasts a king-size bed, ideal for achieving the rejuvenating slumber you've been dreaming of. There's also an en suite with a shower, plus plenty of storage space. Do note, there is limited head room up here.
The other three bedrooms are on the ground floor. There's a bunk bedroom with en suite shower-room, a double with garden access and the final room can be set up as a super-king double or two full size singles, whichever you'd prefer. The bedrooms benefit from a pared back palette of neutrals and pops of seaside blue, perfect to ground you in your coastal location and nurture some excellent sleep. As well as the en suites, there is a tiled family bathroom on the ground floor with a bath and separate shower.
Step outside and into the pleasant lawned garden and take in the stunning palm which gives immediate summer holiday vibes. As does the hot tub, the perfect spot to soak in a north Devon sunset. Or sunrise, if you're up early enough. Outside you'll also find al fresco seating along with a Weber barbecue to cook up a storm. There's even an outside hot and cold shower, so you can wash off after a day at the beach.
The driveway provides parking for two cars, plus there's unrestricted parking on the road outside. Arriving by electric car? There's a charging point available to use (at cost).

We have been coming to Croyde for many years and this is by far the best cottage we have stayed in. It is in a great position, very comfortable and well equipped. The beds were great which is something I would always return to a property for but this had so many other positives too. I would not hesitate to recommend this cottage.

Sands End is perfectly located with a foot path leading straight to the middle of the beach. The walk into the heart of the village is around 5 minutes. The rear garden receives sunshine for most of the day and a perfect place to relax - a bonus is the outside shower and hot tub. The garden is totally secure for a dog. Sands End is very clean and well maintained, we've visited at least once annually since 2019 as a family. Lots of places to eat in the village and surrounding area. A top pick is the Carvery at The Williams.

Lovely property in a perfect location, I have been coming to Croyde for 24 years and stayed in many places but for us with three children and a dog who like to go to the beach every day this is the best location we have ever had, short and a lovely walk to the beach! The house has everything you need, comfortable, clean would highly recommend!

Wonderful property for a family break in a great location. Easy to get to the beach and the village centre.
Using the hot tub each early evening after a day at the beach is a great addition.

I can fully recommend this house, it’s spacious and well equipped, in a good location for walking to the beach or the village centre. The garden is on the small side for active children but with so much outside space nearby that’s not really an issue. The upstairs room has very low sloping ceilings, watch your heads!
