Situated in the beautiful National Landscape of the Blackdown Hills, The Coach House is a spacious, characterful cottage ready to welcome you and your four-legged friend.

As you step through the front door into the porch, you will find a handy utility-room which is perfect for muddy boots and dogs after long walks in the countryside. Just off this area take one step up to the modern shower-room.

On the ground floor you will also find the country-style kitchen that has a sweet table for morning coffee made, if you chose, with the Delonghi-Nespresso coffee machine. Please note that the Aga is ornamental but the electric oven and hob give ample space for you to cook up holiday treats. Just next door there is a separate dining-room so you can sit and enjoy each other's company over leisurely meals.

Four steps up from the dining-room is the sitting-room with its beautiful full-length windows which flood the room with light. A super-comfy sofa offers the perfect spot to kick back and relax to watch a film or get competitive with a board game. Don't forget to light the wood-burner and watch the comforting flames flicker. From the sitting-room there are sliding patio doors out to your private terrace and garden where you can sit and savour a glass of something bubbly in the sunshine.

Heading up the stairs from the sitting-room, there are two pretty bedrooms. Both bedrooms have picturesque views across the owners' gardens and boast excellent storage space. Soft linens and calming tones ensure you will feel totally relaxed in the sleeping quarters. Between the two bedrooms there is a second shower-room with a large shower enclosure and luxurious drench head - please do take care near the low beam in this room.

Your private terrace and lawned-area can be enclosed when the gates are shut giving a safe space for your dog to explore whilst you enjoy evening meals on the terrace. Please take care when using the terrace as it is on differing levels.

The Coach House is attached to the owners' home but there is a high level of privacy and the gardens are separate; please ensure the wrought iron gate at the side of your garden remains closed during your stay.

Mrs Knott

The Coach House is a little bit of paradise set in a stunning location. The property is really well equipped with some lovely extra touches including fresh flowers in the lounge, beautifully scented reed diffusers, soap and hand lotion. The owners have gone to great lengths to ensure the Coach House is welcoming and comfortable and we very much hope to make a return visit.

Mr Deville

A delightful property in an unexpected corner of the southwest, convenient for both country and coast.

Dr Bethell

We enjoyed our return visit to the Coach House and were delighted to enjoy the good weather in our sunny private garden. Loved the very welcome treats our kind hosts provided. Easy visiting to Taunton to see family, Lyme Regis to explore and Otter Valley Farm Kitchen for top ups of their fab ice cream.

Dr Bethell

We loved the peaceful, bright and very comfortable Coach House. It's a delightful, relaxing place for a break away from busy lives but within easy travelling to plenty of lovely walks and other attractions. We feel it best to warn against the ice cream offered at Otter Valley (!) you might be tempted to visit on a daily basis.

Ms Fuentes Riaza

The Coach house is a lovely cosy cottage in a get tranquil area. It is also a good location for exploring other places. Great for walking.
