Set right on the beach in the charming village of Kingsand, treat yourself to the ultimate seaside escape where the sound of the waves lapping on the seashore become your daily soundtrack.

With such a setting, you'll set yourself to Cornish time from the minute you arrive at Island Cottage and the beach is sure to become your daily amusement. From early morning dips, building sandcastles, lazing in the afternoon sun with a good book to keep you company, testing your balancing skills on paddleboards (please bring your own), enjoying a sunset stroll along the water's edge or pitching up on the balcony and watching others at play. Relax, unwind and savour every moment of coastal living.

Inside this much-loved semi-detached Grade II Listed, coastal home, the relaxed, welcoming vibe continues with comfortable and homely interiors awaiting your arrival. The kitchen/dining-room will delight budding chefs with its large island for all to gather around. It's the place to prepare your 'Full English', holiday picnics and seafood suppers. The impressive sitting-room takes pride of place on the first floor with stunning views all around. Sink into the sofas after a day of adventures and should things turn a little chilly, the wood-burner will keep you nice and toasty.

One bedroom is on the ground floor, where you will also find the family bathroom and utility-room with shower. There are two characterful bedrooms on the first floor, in between which is a cloakroom, handy if you need to get out in the middle of the night! Two of the rooms can be set up as twin beds or as super-king size doubles, so you can tailor the sleeping arrangements as you like.

Being in such a plum location this lovingly presented cottage is within walking distance of all the pretty twinned villages of Kingsand and Cawsand have to offer. Shop, galleries and a great choice of places to eat and drink, in fact the Devonport Inn is only a few steps away, perfect for when you want to try some local ale or enjoy some good old Cornish hospitality.
